Trade Feature Highlights

Experience the strength of the Trade feature! HOTFI introduces the new BRC20 trading functionality, employing a highly efficient order book model. Users can easily engage in trading by placing buy orders (BTC) or sell orders (BRC20), providing a convenient trading experience. Trading Function Overview

1.Connect Wallet

Users can connect to the HOTFI platform using either Unisat Wallet or OKX Wallet.

The specific operating steps are as follows:

(1)Visit our HOTFI official website: https://hotfi.io/
Click on “Connect Wallet”-Choose to connect with “Unisat/OKX Wallet”

Note1: Currently, only Unisat and OKX wallets are supported, and wallets with addresses starting with bc1q or bc1p are only compatible.
Note2:Please use the wallet that you initially logged in with to avoid asset display issues. HOTFI utilizes decentralized wallet management, where each user’s HOTFI wallet is generated based on the signing information and address of the wallet used for the first login, which cannot be tampered with.

(2)Complete the wallet “Sign” process. Once signed, your wallet is successfully connected.

Note1: This signing process does not compromise your wallet’s private key and will not result in any loss of assets.

2.Deposit

Users can deposit BTC or BRC20 assets to HOTFI through the ‘Bridge In’ feature.

Note: Currently, only BRC20 assets listed on the HOTFI platform are supported.

The steps for Bridge In are as follows:

(1)Visit our HOTFI official website: https://hotfi.io/
1)Click on “Connect Wallet”-Choose to connect with “Unisat/OKX Wallet”
2)Complete the wallet “Sign” process. Once signed, your wallet is successfully connected.

Note1: Currently, only Unisat and OKX wallets are supported, and wallets with addresses starting with bc1q or bc1p are only compatible.
Note2: This signing process does not compromise your wallet’s private key and will not result in any loss of assets.

(2)Click on the wallet address in the top right corner, view the displayed currencies in the wallet, and click on the “Bridge-In” option in the wallet.

(3)Choose the currency you want to bridge in (currently supporting only bridging BTC)
1)Select the quantity of BTC to be bridged in
2)Ensuring that the quantity is above 0.0005 BTC
3)Choose the gas fee, and finally, click “Bridge In”.

(4)A signature for generating an AA wallet address will pop up. The AA wallet is a mapped wallet uniquely generated through the signature of the BTC wallet. This signing process does not compromise the wallet’s private key and will not result in any loss of assets.

(5)After completing the generation of the AA wallet signature, confirm the bridged quantity, click ‘Sign & Pay,’ and then simply wait for on-chain confirmation. Once confirmed, BTC will be credited to your account.

3.List Orders

Users can list buy or sell orders by clicking the ‘List’ button and entering the desired price. Alternatively, they can list orders by clicking on the order list based on predetermined prices.

Note:Ensure that there is one BRC20 asset and BTC asset (used as a transaction fee) in the AA wallet for Bridge In.

Steps for listing a buying order are as follows:

(1)Go to the Trade page on HOTFI: https://app.hotfi.io/trade, and click on “List”

(2)Choose the desired price for the BRC20 asset you wish to purchase (currently priced in sats) along with the quantity. Confirm the buy order details; a prompt will appear to sign the AA address. Click ‘Sign’ to proceed.

(3)After successfully listing a buy order, a pop-up window will appear with the message ‘Order placed successfully.’ Subsequently, you will see your buy order displayed on the left and your order record will appear in ‘Order History.’

Steps for listing a selling order are as follows:

(1)Go to the Trade page on HOTFI: https://app.hotfi.io/trade, and click on “List”

(2)Choose the desired price for the BRC20 asset you wish to sell (currently priced in sats) along with the quantity. Confirm the sell order details; a prompt will appear to sign the AA address. Click ‘Sign’ to proceed.”

(3)After successfully listing a sell order, a pop-up window will appear with the message ‘Order placed successfully.’ Subsequently, you will see your sell order displayed on the left, and your order record will appear in ‘Order History’

4.Match Orders

a.Active Matching:Users can actively match orders by clicking the “Buy” button on existing orders in the list at market price, with any quantity.

Steps for initiating a market buy order are as follows:

(1)Check the ‘Sell Order’ section, review the desired order for purchase, and click “Buy”

(2)Confirm the desired purchase price and quantity, click “Confirm”, and complete the AA wallet address signature.

(3)Wait for the order to be processed. After successfully making a purchase, a pop-up window will appear with the message ‘Order placed successfully.’ The purchase record will then be displayed in ‘Order History.’

Note: In case multiple users place orders simultaneously, the order will be assigned to the user who completes the payment first. If the payment is unsuccessful, the current payment order will be allocated to the ‘Buy Order’ list.

b.Matching Orders:When a user’s order reaches a price-matching point, it will be passively executed based on the principle of priority in order placement time.

Steps for matching a market sell order are as follows:

(1)Check the ‘Buy Order’ section, review the desired order for purchase, and click “Sell”

(2)Confirm the price and quantity, and complete the AA wallet address signature.

(3)Wait for the order confirmation; the order will be displayed in ‘Order History’

Note: In case multiple users place orders simultaneously, the order will be assigned to the user who completes the payment first. If the payment is unsuccessful, the current payment order will be allocated to the ‘Sell Order’ list.

5.Cancel Orders

Users can cancel orders in ‘Order History’

Cancel an order involves the following steps:

(1)In ‘Order History,’ review your order history, and under ‘Operate,’ select “Cancel”

(2)A pop-up will appear with the message ‘Are you sure you want to cancel the order?’ Click “Confirm”,complete the AA wallet address signature, and click “Sign”

(3)The pop-up will display the order processing status. Please be patient and wait for the confirmation

(4)After successfully canceling, a pop-up will appear with the message ‘Order Cancellation successful.’ In the current order section of ‘Order History,’ ‘Amount’ and ‘Completed’ will display as 0, indicating a successful order cancellation

6.Withdraw

Users can withdraw BTC or BRC20 assets through the ‘Bridge Out’ feature in the wallet.

The steps for Bridge Out are as follows:

(1)Visit our HOTFI official website: https://hotfi.io/
1)Click on “Connect Wallet”
2)Choose to connect with “Unisat/OKX Wallet”
3)Complete the wallet “Sign” process, successfully connect your wallet.

Note1: Currently, only Unisat and OKX wallets are supported, and wallets with addresses starting with bc1q or bc1p are only compatible.
Note2: This signing process does not compromise your wallet’s private key and will not result in any loss of assets.

(2)Click on the wallet address in the top right corner, see the displayed currencies in the wallet, and click on the “Bridge-Out” option in the wallet.

(3)Choose the currency you want to bridge out
1)Select the quantity of the bridged-out currency
2)Ensure that the BTC balance in your AA wallet is sufficient to cover the gas fee
3)Click “Bridge Out”. If the bridging is unsuccessful, a popup on the page will indicate the minimum required BTC amount for processing this bridge-out order.

(4)After this, a signature will appear for generating the AA wallet address. After completing the generation of the AA wallet signature, confirm the bridged-out quantity and the paid fee, click “Sign & Pay”,and then simply wait for on-chain confirmation. You can check the order status in the order history.
